The clinical years of medical school can bring a plethora of questions.
How do clerkships (aka clinical rotations or clinical experiences) really work? What am I required to take? Will I be prepared? When do I apply for residency? HOW do I apply for residency? Wait, how do I even know what I want to be when I grow up?
Dr. Hover will be holding town hall meetings in January to answer all of your questions about your transitions from the didactic years through graduation.
On Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 6-8 pm in Lecture Hall 2, the DO 2018 class will learn about the VSAS (Visiting Student Application Service) application timeline and process, Letters of Recommendation, interview attire , the ERAS process and the difference between the MD and DO math processes.
On Thursday, January 26, 2017, from 5-7 pm in Lecture Hall 2, the DO 2019 class will meet to learn about the transition to clerkships, what to expect, immunizations, credentialing, professionalism and much more!
Attendance is required and light snacks will be served.
All clinical clerkship and residency questions should be directed to Dr. Hover at Mara.Hover@tun.touro.edu.
