Dean’s Letters

The Dean’s Letter is the final document needed by residency programs to create a match. This information is uploaded into the DLS system. For those of you who do not know, there are a few sections in the DLS system that must be completed by each student.

Each student has their own log in and the website can be accessed at
If you do not know your log in information or cannot access DLS please contact IT at 702.777.3160.

In the DLS system, each student must enter the information below before September 15, 2016:

  • Premedical data
  • Experience
  • Research
  • Honors & Awards

The Dean’s Office will enter:

  • Dean’s Letter

Before the final Dean’s Letter is uploaded you will have will have the opportunity to review the draft for substantive errors before it is finalized and uploaded onto ERAS. You will be given three days to review the document if after three days we don’t hear from you your document will be uploaded as written.

The Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) is the website that gives each residency program access to your accounts/information.  Once each ERAS account is uploaded with all required documents, every residency program in the United States will have access to each student’s personal and academic information uploaded in their individual ERAS account.

Each student has been provided their individualized Token ID by the department of Clinical Education. This should give you access onto ERAS.

AAMC for Students, Applicants, and Residents

Everyone has been assigned a token. Please complete the registration tis will ensure proper uploading of your documents.

In the ERAS system, each student must enter the information below before September 15, 2016:

  • Application
  • Personal Statement
  • Photo
  • COMLEX Scores

Each preceptor will upload:

  • Letter of Recommendation

Dean’s Office will upload:

  • Dean’s Letter (MSPE)
  • Transcript
